Europe & Middle East Field Director and Area Council meets at European Theological Seminary in Kniebis, Germany on September 10, 2010

Since 1984, Europe has been divided into two areas of Church of God World Missions, Western Europe and Eastern Europe/CIS. At the recent International General Assembly, July 2010, the two areas of Europe were unified as one area under one field director. It is an honor for me to serve as the field director for this one area—Europe/CIS/ Middle East.

After 16 years of effective and successful ministry, Dieter Knospe retired as a field director. He and his wife will continue to be greatly loved and respected throughout Europe and CIS. The World Missions Board, confirmed by the International Executive Committee, decided to bring this vast area together. The World Missions Board has appointed six Regional Superintendents to assist me in carrying forth this unified area.
